Glen Research is continuously monitoring and assessing the current situation with respect to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and responding appropriately as it evolves.
As COVID-19 continues to impact our communities, we are mindful that there may be concerns regarding ordering and general delays. Our commitment is to remain in operation in order to supply mission-critical products to our customers, who are in turn performing critical research to understand the nature of the disease and developing diagnostic kits. We have an active Business Continuity Plan in place and a specific response plan to the COVID-19 situation.
Currently, our efforts are enabling coronavirus research and fueling development of COVID-19 diagnostic test kits by providing high-quality and efficient delivery of reagents for synthesis of DNA & RNA oligonucleotides. We provide critical reagents that are making an immediate impact in global health and safety, and we are doing everything in our power to maintain business as usual. As of today, we are currently experiencing no business interruption and our facility remains open and operational.
Impact to Manufacturing:
Our manufacturing and support teams continue to be fully operational. We are maintaining tight communication and are working closely with our suppliers to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing workflows. We have conducted a risk assessment of our supply chain, resources and facilities and they are all secure with contingencies in place. Within our manufacturing facility, we are following the guidelines of local and national health organizations in order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
Impact to Business Operations:
Glen Research is taking all recommended precautions to ensure we keep our employees and their families safe, while maintaining our business continuity in support of our customers.
