eGlen - International Orders, FAST!

Glen Research's distributors cover a very significant percentage of countries where oligonucleotide synthesis is commonly practiced. Our distributors do an excellent job of maintaining inventory of products commonly purchased in their territory. However, our vast selection of unusual products is really only comprehensively stocked here in Virginia. Some of our web viewers have asked us to set up a direct shipping channel and we have attempted to put together a program to meet their needs for faster delivery. Here's how it works.

Account Setup

To establish an account, please fax us with full shipping details; including address, telephone and fax numbers, and contact name. Also supply us with a credit card number (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), expiration date, and name the card was issued to. Please download a copy of the registration form (acrobat pdf file), print the form, fill-in the required information and fax the form to Glen Research. (For security reasons, we feel that fax would be preferable to e-mail for setting up the account.)

Terms

This service is only available on a pre-paid basis. Purchase orders will not be accepted. All items will be sold at US list price, shown on our web catalog. Educational institutions will receive a 10% discount from list price.

Order Placing

Orders may be placed by e-mail to orders@glenres.com once an account has been established (if your e-mail happens to be down, you can order by fax to +1-703-435-9774.) Include the last four digits of the credit card number and expiration date of the card that was used when establishing the account. List the items and catalog numbers, along with expected pricing. We will confirm e-mailed orders via e-mail prior to shipping and the airway bill number of the shipment will be forwarded to the purchaser once the package has been sent. Faxed orders will be confirmed and shipping details forwarded to the purchaser by fax.

Shipping

Orders will be shipped directly to the customer by Federal Express within 24 hours of receipt at Glen Research, unless there is a problem with the order or a back-order exists. The cost of freight is usually around $45 and will be added to the prepayment total. Customs duty and any taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Exclusions

If our distributor has bid on and been awarded a contract or has a blanket purchase agreement in place with your institution, you are obligated to purchase from the distributor. In these cases, direct shipping may be arranged through the distributor.

Hazardous material can not be supplied under this service.

Questions

Any questions concerning an eGlen order must be addressed to Glen Research directly, not to your distributor. Similarly, Glen Research will provide technical support for eGlen orders.
