Catalog Number: 10-1900-xx

Description: Chemical Phosphorylation Reagent

2-[2-(4,4'-Dimethoxytrityloxy)ethylsulfonyl]ethyl-(2-cyanoethyl)-
(N,N-diisopropyl)-phosphoramidite
Formula: C34H45N2O7PSM.W.: 656.77F.W.: 79.98

Diluent: Anhydrous Acetonitrile
Add fresh diluent to product vial to recommended concentration and swirl vial occasionally over several minutes until product is completely dissolved. (Some oils may require between 5 and 10 minutes.) Use care to maintain anhydrous conditions. In case of transfer to alternate vial type, ensure recipient vial has been pre-dried. For more information, see http://www.glenres.com/ProductFiles/Technical/TB_ABITransfer.pdf.
Coupling: No changes needed from standard method recommended by synthesizer manufacturer.
Deprotection: No changes needed from standard method recommended by synthesizer manufacturer. Note: The DMT-group is removed during the ammonium hydroxide deprotection and thus is not available for poly-pak purification. Deprotection Detail
Storage: Refrigerated storage, maximum of 2-8 °C, dry
Stability in Solution: 2-3 days
Please Note: This product is provided under license from Bayer Corporation.
The DMT-group is removed during the ammonium hydroxide deprotection and thus is not available for poly-pak purification

The user may remove the DMT during synthesis to check coupling efficiency.

This reagent can be used to create the 3Õ-phosphate by adding it as the first addition to the support. After ammonia deprotection the oligo will have the 3'-phosphate attached to the 2nd base added during synthesis-Both the support base and the CPR are cleaved
