Re: C-5 Propyne Derivatives and Cytofectin GSV

As you may know, we originally licensed these products from Gilead Sciences and in December 1998 our license was assigned to Isis Pharmaceuticals as part of their purchase of Gilead's antisense technology. On March 9, 2000 Isis terminated our license agreement with the required 3 months notice, making the termination effective June 9, 2000. (By mutual agreement, the notice period was extended to July 9, 2000.) Unfortunately, Glen Research and Isis have been unable to reach an agreement to allow Glen to continue supplying these products in the long term. The original agreement allows us to continue selling products in inventory at the termination date for a further 12 months or until the inventory is depleted. We have always carried a substantial inventory of these products and we feel that supplies can be maintained until at least the end of the year.
